West Indies tour of India 2013 scheduled from October 31 to November 27 for a tour comprising two Test matches and three One-Day Internationals, with a three-day warm-up fixture preceding the international matches.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that Star India Pvt. Ltd and ESPN Software India Pvt. Ltd will be the title sponsors for all international and domestic series to be played in India in the 2013-14 season. This was announced after a meeting of its Marketing Committee, headed by Farooq Abdullah, on Thursday (October 3).
Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has announced that he will retire from all forms of cricket during the series after he plays in his 200th Test match.

BCCI – on a personal request from Tendulkar, awarded the match to MCA, and the authorities there have carefully chalked out their plan for the momentous occasion.
Sachin Tendulkar has requested the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) for 500 tickets, 200 of which will be allotted in the pavilion and 300 in the North Stand, to his 200th and final Test against West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium next month.

Tendulkar, who will end his 24-year international cricket journey at his home ground, met MCA officials on Monday (October 21) and requested them for tickets among other things for his farewell Test, according to “The Indian Express” today.
The match will see a special guest in the form of Tendulkar’s mother, who has never watched her son play an international match.
With Tendulkar’s mother set to be at the venue to watch his son, the Master Blaster has asked the officials to make sure a ramp is in place at the entrance so that she can comfortably reach the president box, the report added. Sachin’s mother needs a wheelchair to move around.
