Yuvraj Singh at IIFA awards
Yuvraj Singh is making his life a cocktail. Where, he is on one side working hard at the BCCI‘s nursery NCA, also sweating at nets and on the other he has boarded the flight with zaheer khan for the IIFA awards ceremony. And, recentely was also seen in a music launch party in mumbai.
Yuvraj Singh, who has been recovering well after his cancer treatment, is eyeing to play in some of the pre-season tournaments like Moin-ud Dowla Gold Cup and Buchi Babu Trophy later this year before making a comeback into first-class cricket.
One of Yuvraj close friends said, “Yuvi’s scan report shows that he is nearing complete recovery. For the first two years, the blood tests and scan needs to be done every three months. In the next three years, it will be every five months. He is a little bit weak but his rehab programme at the NCA is going pretty well”.
Yuvraj Singh had tweeted on Monday, “Good day today Got my blood report and scan report !! I’m in good condition!! I’m so happy to lead a normal healthy life time to celebrate”.

MS Dhoni met Indian army soldiers in J&K
MS Dhoni has expressed keen interest in serving the army after he hangs up his boots. MS Dhoni, who was position as an honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the elite Parachute Regiment last year, is in Kashmir as a guest at the ongoing Kashmir Premier League in Baramullah.
Dhoni will also take a trip to the base camp of Siachen, the world’s highest battlefield.
Dhoni said, “Where I am today is because of cricket. I would like to serve in the army actively after cricket. I don’t want my cricket to suffer because that is something I am good at”.
“I will try to go to the frontline. It is very exciting because I will get to see the challenges the officers face. I knew the army from a distance. Now I am getting to know the army from close quarters. This is the first time I have come to a forward post”.
“Families (of the army officers) come here at this time of the year and I will get a chance to interact with them and I am sure the next few days would be exciting”.
