Mahendra Singh Dhoni: We are fresh and ready to play
Mahendra Singh Dhoni: he felt as fresh after a month minus cricket as he appeared, on Tuesday. Dhoni said, that his main objective ahead of his side’s tour to Sri Lanka was to get start the season on a winning note.
“Our cricket season has started and we want to play best for our country’s image. We want to start the season well. The conditions in Sri Lanka are not too different. Certain things change but the pattern of cricket remains the same”.
Dhoni felt a good team and not an extraordinary captain can ensure results. “A captain can channelise but the team is very important. An ordinary team with an extraordinary captain cannot win the World Cup”.
Duncan Fletcher Coach said, ” The team morale is high. Players are coming from a break. I have spoken to the players and have gotten along very well with them. Everybody seems to have enjoyed my inputs”.
