Cricketer Sunil Joshi to Retire from International and First-Class Cricket

Karnataka State Cricket Association said in a press meeting, “Sunil Joshi will announce his retirement from international and first-class cricket on June 21″.

Sunil Joshi born on June 6, 1970 in Gadag, he is a slow left-arm spinner and a left-handed batsman. Sunil Joshi played Test as well as One day International (ODI) cricket for India between 1996 and 2001.

Sunil Joshi is  a most famouse bowling performance for India came in an One Day International match against South Africa in the LG Cup in 1999 when he returned figures of 10-6-6-5.

Three years later, his performance was rated in Wisden 100 as the seventh best ODI bowling performance. Sunil Joshi represented Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2008 and 2009 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and was under contract till 2010.
