Caribbean T20 2013 will be the fourth season of the Caribbean Twenty20, a domestic Twenty20 tournament administered by the West Indies Cricket Board. 23 matches will be played from 6 to 20 January 2013. The fourth edition of the Caribbean Twenty20 will be played from January 6 to 20 at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad and Beausejour Cricket Stadium in St Lucia.

This will be the first season to feature only the seven West Indies first-class teams and no invited overseas teams. The format was the changed from the previous seasons. The tournament consisted of 23 matches, divided into a group stage and a playoff stage. The group stage consists of one group instead of the previous two, with each the teams playing a round-robin tournament. The second and third placed teams play in the playoff. The final is played between the first placed team from the group stage and the winner of the playoff.

ESPN will screen live coverage of the 2013 Caribbean T20 featuring some of the top players in the world, including those that helped lead the West Indies to the T20 World Cup title. The 2013 Caribbean T20 is live on ESPN from 6-20 January. ESPN is to bring cricket fans around the world, including those in the UK and Ireland, televised coverage of the Caribbean T20 – the annual Twenty20 cricket tournament in the region. The tournament is set to feature some of the top players in the world, including those that helped lead the West Indies to the T20 World Cup title.

ESPN will broadcast selected matches from the tournament on its TV networks in the Caribbean, the UK and Ireland, Pacific-Rim, Middle East, Israel and north Africa, plus, sub-Saharan Africa. Schedules will vary by region. On broadband, the sports media company will provide coverage of all matches in the Caribbean and Latin America via ESPN Play, and, in the US, Australia and New Zealand via ESPN3.com.
